Polina 'Pasha' A. Chekov (Mirror!Verse AU)

Name: Pasha Andreynia Chekov

Personality: Pasha, unlike her normal counterpart has built her life around her own ambition. It's a rare person that enters the Empire of Earth at such a young age, and Pasha does like to think of herself as a very rare person. She's very egotistical. She fully intends to be come a Captain within the next five years through hook or by crook and Empress of the Empire itself within the decade. That's why she always seems to be in the know about everything that goes on aboard the Enterprise, secrets are powerful currency after all.

Above all else, she's a compulsive liar, if she thinks saying something will get her out of trouble or a sticky situation Pasha won't hesitate to use any lie she can think of. Or to drop somebody else in it. That being said, she's very probably too smart for her own good. That combined with her ambition has made her a very dangerous young woman. She might not be physically strong, but her wits are as sharp as her blades and she has no hesitation to use them.

Normally Pasha speaks in a perfect Terran Standard accent, she only slips into a Russian accent when incredibly emotional. 

History: Pasha's upbringing was much what one might have expected from a mirror universe family. Her mother was a well to do socialite and her father was a well respected imperial officer of high standing. They had seven boys who all hold respectable jobs within the Terran Empire and Pasha herself. Andrei held high hopes for his daughter as even from a young age she showed shrewd intelligence and a talent for finding out information that she should have never of had access to. Her willingness to use that information was what impressed him the most however.

It was when she gravely told him at age seven that her mother was having an affair and had enough evidence to prove it that Andrei started to shape his only daughter into an officer worthy of the Imperial fleet. Kata was gotten rid of and Pasha became the apple of her father's eye. He had only ever intended to make her into a Captain's woman by giving her the skills and strength she would need to endure the academy and succeed in making herself useful to him. Pasha outgrew those ambitions however and decided upon her own at the academy; forging alliances with people stronger than her that weren't in good graces and non-commissioned officers, particularly the non-Terran non-coms.

She proved her worth to the Enterprise during the Narada incident and her supposed 'loyalty' by saving the Captain from a freefall drop after being pushed off a mining platform that was attempting to destroy one of the Empire's loyalist planets - Vulcan.

Verses:

Captain: Pasha is successful in killing Kirk and taking over the Enterprise. She struggles daily to keep control of her crew that composes of half people wanting to lynch her and half trying to control her for their own gain. Rarely seen without a loyal member of Security at her side or her agoniser on her hip.

Ensign: She's still on the course to becoming Captain. Pasha is often found plotting or talking to people to try to gather as much information as possible to make herself as useful as possible. She can often be found at the centre of a web of rumours and secrets. On the Enterprise she's the go to person for information and hacking.

Slave: Otherwise known as bad ending. Pasha's scheme to off Kirk and become Captain of the Enterprise backfires when Kirk refuses to die. She is no longer an officer of the Terran Empire and has all of her Terran rights stripped away. She serves as a general dogsbody to Kirk's Yeoman. She's a furious little ball of resentment and false nicety as she knows that's the only thing keeping her alive. 

Socialite: Pasha wasn't allowed to join the Imperial fleet and instead was made to stay on Earth and be a credit to her family by playing the part of the perfect daughter. It's odd how her arranged marriage partners keep running away or dying though.
